Jeanne Walker's engagement ring

This ring was made for my daughter Jeannie during the third week of August 2009. The center stone is a two carat purple sapphire, with smaller blue sapphires and diamonds. Set in 14K palladium white gold with yellow and rose gold details. The yellow gold is all from recycled family jewelry going back five generations. Jeanne is the manager of Walker's Celtic Jewelry in Fairport, NY.

These custom rings are hand fabricated combining colored gold with precious stones. The Celtic symbols, filigree and granulation work are blended in the eclectic design spirit of Early Medieval Celtic jewelry as well as in the modern tradition of Celtic Revival Art Nouveau.
